James J. Kehoe

James J. Kehoe, late of Chicago, Illinois, was born in Worthington, Iowa, on July 1, 1875, and died at his home in Chicago on April 30, 1931, after an illness extending over a period of several months.

He was raided to maturity in and about Farley, Iowa, and was united in marriage at that place to Mary Kelly on September 4, 1895, to which union there were born six children, all of whom survive him, and all being present at the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, Mary A. Kehoe, 1052 N. Lavergne Avenue, Chicago; Louis J. Kehoe, of Wellman, Iowa; Edward J. Kehoe, Chicago; Mrs. Austin Murray, of Charles City; Marie Kehoe, Lucille Kehoe and Andrew C. Kehoe, all at home in Chicago.

The immediate cause of the death of the deceased were complications arising from a heart affliction, which reached serious and fatal proportions in the past few months.

Mr. Kehoe lived for a number of years on the farm in the vicinity of Charles City, and for an extended period before moving to Chicago farmed in Mitchell County in the vicinity of New Haven.

The deceased was well known at these places, and will be remembered by and missed by his family and friends, as only one is missed who has been a loyal and loving husband and father, and a true and trusted friend.

Funeral services were held at Chicago Saturday, May 2, and burial was made in All Saints Cemetery at that place.
