OSAGE, IOWA — Mrs. William (Karen F.) Fox, 59, of Golf Course Road, died Saturday, March 7, 1998, at her home, of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Recker officiating. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will take place at a later date in the Orchard Cemetery, Orchard.
Visitation begins after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday; a rosary at 3 p.m. and a scripture service at 7:30 p.m. at Champion Funeral Home.
Karen was born June 29, 1938, in Osage, the daughter of C. Edward and Marion (Mark) Fink.
She grew up in the Orchard area attending Orchard schools.
Karen married William J. Fox on October 8, 1955, in Osage. They lived in many areas of the United States, but resided primarily in southern California. In 1988 they returned to their home town of Osage.
Karen enjoyed gardening, crafts, doll houses, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorials in her name may be given to Hospice of North Iowa.
Karen is survived by her mother, Marion Fink, Osage; her husband, William J. Fox, Osage; three daughters, Dorian Derse and her husband, John, and their children, Katie and Emily, Palmdale, Calif.; Mary Morris and her husband, Brian, and their children, David and Christopher, Dripping Springs, Texas; Lisa Razevich and her husband, Matt, and their children, Travis, Voni, and Matty, Lake Elizabeth, Calif.; two sons, Douglas Fox, Virginia Beach, Va., and Richard Fox and children, Rick, Jr. and Alyssa, Lancaster, Calif.; two sisters, Sharon Johnson, and her husband, Dick, Boone, and Marcia Mullen, Osage; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
