Arthur Winthers
Lost Small Son

John Winther, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Winther, and one of an attractive pair of twins, passed away at his parents' home northeast of Osage last Friday evening, after an illness of only a couple of days.

The little fellow had suffered from what was thought to be light case of flu, but septic sore throat complicated matters, and caused his death in a short time. He and his little sister, Marjory, have been unusually healthy and strong, and their loss is a sad one, indeed, for the family.

Two other children besides Marjory, survive; a son, Carroll*, and a daughter, Wilma.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon by the Reverend T. P. Solem, in the Osage Lutheran Church, and the remains were taken to Cedar Falls for burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
