MONTGOMERY, TEXAS - Brian Paul Hart, 59, of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2010, after a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born on January 29, 1951, in Osage, Iowa. Brian and wife Ellen were married on June 5, 1971, in New Haven, Iowa.

Brian is survived by his wife, Ellen (Miller); daughter, Lendie Provenza and husband, Angelo, of Milwaukee, Wis., and son Gregory Hart and wife, Jennifer, of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Michael, Tony, Sophia Provenza; Andrew and Luke Hart, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Brian graduated with a BA degree in education from the University of Northern Iowa in 1973. He worked for Hawkeye Security Insurance Company until 1986 when he and his wife Ellen started the Business and Banking Institute with locations in both Des Moines and Omaha. In 1997 he began working with a Dallas-based firm, Generational Equity, and was currently employed at the time of his death.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at the Sam Houston Funeral Home, 20850 Eva St., Montgomery, Texas.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 8185 County Road 205, Plantersville, Texas.
