Orlan Perau
Funeral services were held Monday, May 2, 1988 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Osage, for Orlan Perau, 75, of Osage. The Reverend Roger Hubbard officiated and burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Mr. Perau died Thursday, April 28, 1988 at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital.
He was born August 21, 1912 in Otranto Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, to George and Elsie (Baldner) Perau. He moved with his family to Elgin, North Dakota, returing to the St. Ansgar area in 1922.
He attended schools in Mona and St. Ansgar. He farmed in East Cedar Township in Mitchell County for 47 years. They retired and moved into Osage in 1984.
He was a Jacques Seed Corn dealer and Archer Oil dealer for 22 years.
His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Laurina of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Hegland and Marlys Perau, both of Osage; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Orlo (Della) Jensen of St. Ansgar . . . . (Truncated)
