Funeral services for Mrs. Nels Naig, 74, of Osage, were held Friday at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Mrs. Naig died at Faith Home here March 4, 1980. The Reverend Jack Cahill, pastor of the United Church of Christ, was in charge of the rites and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Margaret Arlene Sewright was born November 8, 1905, in Lincoln Township, Mitchell County, the daughter of Robert and Alice Sewright. She was graduated from Osage High School and was employed by the Kingsbury Hardware.
Nels Paul Naig and Arlene Sewright were married at the Little Brown Church near Nashua September 14, 1936. In recent years she was employed as a librarian at Sage Library, retiring in 1976.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Nels, and her parents.
Surviving are two sons, Paul R. Naig of K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base, Michigan, and John A. Naig of Lynwood, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Creek of Manson; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
