Frank Dellage, Is
Killed in Accident

Frank Dellage, a former Osage man, was killed in a railroad crossing accident at Cedar Falls late Saturday afternoon. His wife was severally injured at the same time.

Mr. and Mrs. Dellage were riding in an automobile with two other women, Mrs. Askel Holst and Mrs. O. H. Sumpter. Mrs. Holst was driving the car.

Just how the accident occurred, the Press hasn't learned, but it was, we understand, at a Rock Island crossing in the town of Cedar Falls.

Frank was killed at once, Mrs. Holst died the following afternoon, and Mrs. Dellage was badly hurt.

Lee Dellage, of Lignite, N.D., Frank's older brother, came Monday, and he told Osage friends that funeral arrangements would be held up until Mrs. Dellage was able to state her wishes.

Frank grew up in Mitchell County, and lived for many years in the Osage vcinity, moving to a farm near Waterloo about a year ago.

Funeral Services
For Frank Dellage
Riceville Saturday

Funeral services were held for Frank Dellage at Riceville Saturday afternoon, at St. Mary's Church, and interment was made in the cemetery at that place. Mr. Dellage was killed in an automobile accident January 24 at a railroad crossing at Cedar Falls.

The remains had been at a funeral home, pending the recovery of Mrs. Dellage who was also severely injured in the accident.

Frank was born February 10, 1888, a son of Mary and Louis Dellage, on the home farm near New Haven

About twenty-seven years ago they moved to Osage, and Frank stayed at home and cared for his parents in their old age.

In April, 1921, he was married to Lulu Gooder, who survive him. There are also his brothers, Lee, Jess and Jack, and his sisters, Mary and Julia.

Immediately upon receipt of the tragic news, the family, with the exception of John, who is ill at a hospital, came to Cedar Falls and then on to Osage, where they remained for ten days, and with much regret returned to their homes before their brother was buried.

Frank spent all of his life in this community, with the exception of a year when he farmed near Waterloo, and he as earned for himself a reputation of being a conscientious, honest young man, a good neighbor and friend.
