Funeral services for Edith Torgerson, 88, of Osage, who died Monday, November 9 [1987] at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center were held Wednesday, November 11 at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Reverend Dennis Hanson of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Osage, officiating.

Miss Torgerson was born September 8, 1899 at Bolan to Ole and Sarah (Berg) Torgerson. She attended Worth County schools. She moved with her parents in 1934 to Osage. She lived on the family farm until 1971 when she moved to the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Albert (Helen) Swenson of Council Bluffs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Cora, Anna, Mabel and Nora [?], two brothers, Lester and Thomas.

Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
