At Osage Lutheran Church

Funeral services for Ronald Canny, 45, of Osage, who died Saturday, December 26, 1987 near Orchard, Iowa, were held on Tuesday, December 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Osage, with the Reverend Roger R. Hubbard officiating.

Mr. Canny was born on November 18, 1942 at Little Cedar, the son of Glen and Doris (Penny) Canny. He was a 1960 graduate of Little Cedar High School.

He married Sharon Francis June 30, 1961 in Osage. He was a truck driver and area Osage businessman.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Oliver (Kim) Jeffries of Osage and Mrs. Ken (Julie) Meitner of St. Ansgar; his parents, Glen and Doris Canny of Osage; three grandchildren and two sisters, Sharon Theobald of Stacyville and Diane Canny of Bloomington, Minnesota.

Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
