-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Silas G. Tubbs obituary
The Funeral of Silas G. Tubbs occurred Monday at Mitchell at the Methodist Church, but as he was a resident of this place until a short time ago we take the liberty to mention this in our letter.
He and his family resided here until the death of his wife, which occurred last July. Soon after this he went to Sherburn Minnesota and about a month ago to the pineries in Itasca where on the nineteenth of this month he lost his life by being struck by a falling log, dieing in a few days. He leaves two little children, a mother, brother, and sister to mourn his loss. They have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
