Are Held At Osage Funeral Home
December 10

Funeral services for Mrs. Glen (Lottie) Littelle, 85, of Osage, who died Monday, December 7 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, will be today, Thursday, December 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Champion funeral Home in Osage with the Reverend James S. Pittman, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Osage, officiating.

Mrs. Littelle was born March 15, 1902 on a farm near St. Ansgar to Fred J. and Anna (Kombertz) Semanek. She began her education in Spring Valley, Minnesota rural schools and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1919. She graduated from Upper Iowa University, Fayette, in 1923.

June 17, 1925, she married Glen Littelle at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. She taught English, dramatics and remedial reading at Thornton and Nora Springs. In 1954, the couple moved to Osage where she taught until her retirement in 1969.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Osage, and the United Methodist Women's group. She received an award as Outstanding Senior Citizen at the iowa State Fair in 1976.

Survivors include a son, Wilfred of Osage; a sister, Mrs. Vincent (Freda) Roach of Largo, Florida; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Glen in 1955.

Burial was in St. Ansgar Cemetery.
