Merlin Dean Tubbs, the little 13 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tubbs passed away last Thursday afternoon about 5:00. He had been having a siege of ear and throat trouble, but it was thought he was much better. He slept a great deal Thursday forenoon but soon after noon became suddenly worse and after extreme suffering the little life went out.
The funeral was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Tubbs, Saturday at 1 o’clock, Rev A.S. Cross officiating, and the dear one was laid to rest in the Osage Cemetery.
