Roy Julius Stark 1900-1998

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Roy Julius Stark, 98, died Tuesday (Aug. 11, 1998) at the Riceville Community Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Mowbray officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lindstrom Funeral Home.

Roy Julius Stark was born April 1, 1900, in rural Riceville.

Survivors include two sons, Dean of Riceville, and Harold of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, one grandson, two brothers, and one sister.
