ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Meltonville Community Church for Abner Carberry, 53, who died at his home after an illness of a few weeks. He had been a resident of this community for most of his life,

He leaves a widow and 11 children: Edith, of Clinton, Lois and Esther, at home; Marion of Clinton; Cecil, in the navy at San Francisco, California, and Arthur, Merle, Raymond, Wayne, Paul and Howard, all of St. Ansgar; three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Mary Baker, of Otranto, Mrs Lucy Valentine, of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Emily Anderson, of Council Bluffs, Steven Carberry, of Tegarden, Oklahoma, and George Carberry Meadow of Dan, Virginia.

The body is at the Schroeder and Houg funeral parlors. Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery.
