She was united in marriage to Francis J. Moss on September 21, 1891, and they established their home on a farm near Mossville. Since her husband's death in 1944, she has lived at Riceville, although she has spent considerable time with her son, Clifford, and his family at Osage. She was at her son's home Tuesday when she suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she never recovered.

Survivors are a son, Clifford, two grandchildren, Kenneth and Linda of Osage, and a brother, George Markham of Lime Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Charles.
