Mrs. Hawkins Rites Conducted at Osage...

Little Cedar--Mrs. George Hawkins, 86, died at her home east of town Tuesday after many months of suffering. Orletta Shores was born in Bradford County, Penn., Jan. 7, 1851, later moving with her parents to Wisconsin.

She was married to George Hawkins, at Avon, Wis., April 7, 1871 (should be 1870), moving soon afterwards to Stacyville. In 1900 they purchased the farm on which she now resided, with her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Winer. Her husband preceded her in death in 1930.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Westbrook, Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Bessie Winer, at home, and one son, Eugene Hawkins of Buffalo, Wyo. Funeral services were held at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, Thursday with the Rev. Mr. Tindall officiating.
