DALE R. SQUIER

OSAGE, IOWA - Dale R. Squier, 69, formerly of Osage, passed away Tuesday evening, May 4, 1999, at his home in McLoud, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 10, at the First United Methodist Church, 819 Main, Osage, with the Rev. Art Hill officiating. There will be no visitation. His body was cremated.

Dale was born on December 3, 1929, in Orchard, to Roy and Maude Squier. He attended and graduated from school in Osage. He briefly farmed in the Orchard area. He then drove semis for various trucking companies. He moved to Oklahoma in 1975 and worked as a truck driver for Transeon Truck Lines and retired in 1987.

Survivors include one daughter, Marsha Squier and her husband, Ted, of Newallo, Oklahoma; three sons, Gordon Squier and his wife, Marion, of Paulsbo, Wash., Allen Squier and his wife, Marie, of Rochester, Minn., and Wayne Squier, of Thornton; four grandchildren, Michele (Squier) Smuck and her husband, Matt, of Thornton, Larry Grant of Bothell, Wash., Marsha Craig of Everett, Wash., and Shelby Berry of Newallo, Okla.; five great-grandchildren, Derek and Andrew Smuck, of Thornton, and Daniel, Joseph and Nicholas Craig, of Everett, Wash.; two brothers, Paul Squier, of Osage, and Floyd Squier, of Vinton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
