Josephine Schmarzo, 1904-1996

OSAGE, IOWA - Josephine Schmarzo, 92, of Osage, died Tuesday, September 3, 1996, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home.

Josephine Schmarzo was born on August 7, 1904, at Mitchell.

Survivors include two sons, Gordon J. Schmarzo of Manning, and Kenneth D. Schmarzo of Charles City; one sister, Jean Melin of Osage; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
