heart attackMONA, IOWA — Rudolph A. Carlson, 63, died following a heart attack at St. Olaf Hospital, Austin, Minnesota, on February 3, 1960.
Services were at the Mona Lutheran Church Friday with the Reverend Merland Johnson officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Carlson, he was born May 2, 1896, near Mona. He was married to Dora Berg on August 31, 1922. He lived in Mona and Lyle until about 15 years ago when he and his wife moved to Austin where he was employed at George A. Hormel Co.
He is survived by his wife, Dora; a sister, Mrs. Nels (Minnie) Anderson, Lyle; a brother, Raymond, of Mona.
