Mrs. Volkhart Dies
at Riceville;
Rites Will Be Wednesday

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Mrs. William Volkhart, 66, died at her home two miles north of Riceville Sunday evening.

Mrs. Volkhart was the mother of eight children: Gertrude of Waterloo, Mrs. Harry Schmidt and Arnold, of Clarion, Lloyd of Washington, George, Helen and Mrs. Green of Riceville, and Mrs. Charlotte Groff, who is dead.

Lloyd is flying from Washington to attend the funeral. Mrs. Volkhart will be buried Wednesday but definite arrangements have not been announced.
