Kirchgatter Funeral Is Held in St. Ansgar

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - July 11 - The Gustav Kirchgatter funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Rev. Mr. Beammer officiating.

Mr. Kirchgatter was born in 1883 in Newburg township, baptized in St. Ansgar and confirmed in the Rock Creek church in 1900.

In 1908, he was married to Clara Grop. He had been in failing health for some time, and the past few weeks had been seriously ill. He spent his whole life in Newburg.

He leaves his wife and one son, four brothers and sisters.
