Death of Mrs. Grace Schulte

After a lingering illness, of some months, Mrs. Grace Hyde Schulte of Mitchell, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dr. Poole of St. Paul, on last Friday night and the body was brought back for burial Tuesday. The funeral service was held in the Congregational church in Mitchell on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the two pastors of Mitchell and pastor Coon of Osage.

Grace Hyde was born in Mitchell nearly 26 years ago and spent nearly her whole life there. She was married to Fred Schulte in October, 1899. She was a great favorite among her friends and was loved for her worth. An unusually large number of friends have gathered from far and near to attend the funeral service, bringing with them and sending a great wealth of flowers.
Her home was a particularly happy one. Some months ago she went to St. Paul for medical treatment and through her sickness, continued hopeful, cheerful and particularly, thoughtful of others. She had calmly made requests regarding her funeral, among others that the choir sing: "Asleep in Jesus."

Besides her husband, among her near relatives surviving her are her grandmother, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hyde, three sisters, Mrs. Ella Winter of Mason City, Mrs. Ada Sheehan and Mrs. Wren Poole of St. Paul, and two brothers, Ora Hyde of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Daniel Hyde of Dubuque. All were present at the funeral.
