Funeral services for Jordan Tyler Howe, 9 month old son of Harold and Andrea Howe of Grimes, Iowa, who died Wednesday, April 15, 1998 were held Monday, April 20 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Toeterville, with Rev. David H. Palm officiating.

Jordan Tyler Howe was born June 20, 1997 in Des Moines to Harold and Andrea Howe. He was born with Alagille's Syndrome, a rare genetic disease, that causes heart defects, liver disease and kidney disorders.

Jordan had open heart surgery when he was 30 days old and two other surgeries related to his kidney problems at the University of Iowa Hospital. Despite his struggles, Jordan always managed to smile and giggle at any moment. Jordan touched the lives of all those around him.

Jordan is survived by his parents, Harold and Andrea of Grimes; one brother, Nathan James Howe; paternal grandparents, James Howe, St. Ansgar and Janet Rohne of London, Minnesota; maternal grandparents, Cami Stickney of Des Moines, and Anthony Stickney of San Diego, California; maternal great grandparents, Bea and Herbert Stickney of Falsom, California and paternal great grandparents, Leola and Arnie Matter of Waltham, Minnesota; paternal great great grandparents, Cy Rustad of Alma, Wisconsin, and Pauline Bush of Dirand, Wisconsin.

Burial in the First Lutheran Cemetery.
