DODGE, Franklin Henry ca1856-1941

BURIED IN MITCHELL COUNTY

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Franklin Henry Dodge, 85, died Saturday night at the home of his son, W. Earl Dodge, 308 Tenth Avenue, where he had made his home since the death of his wife, January 3, 1927.

For 30 years he was a farmer in Cedar township; moved to Charles City in 1912.

He is survived by three sons and two daughters, W. Earl and Herbert of Charles City, and
Leonard of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Mrs. Eric Boyd, Newton, Kansas, and Mrs. Orren Jones of Waterloo.

Funeral services at Grossmann's chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Joseph G. Morgan, pastor of the First Congregational church officiating. Burial will be in Stillwater cemetery, north of Charles City.
