The people of this community were much surprised to learn of the death of Mrs. Edward Grovo who died at her home Thursday, October 4th, 1906 from Chronic Brights disease.

Johanne Larsen Grovo was born February 18, 1872; was the daughter of Johannes and Anna A. Larson-Eidy.

On September 4th, 1894 she was married to Edward Grovo who with one child survive her. The funeral was held Monday at the N.L. church of this place and Rev. Waldeland preached the sermon speaking in both Norwegian and English and the remains were laid to rest in the N.L. cemetery.
