Evert John Gerber

Funeral services for Evert Gerber, 55, who died December 24, 1976, at Rochester, Minnesota, were held December 28 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Waltham, Minnesota, with the Rev. Karl Koch officiating. Interment was at St. Michael's Cemetery in Waltham.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerber at one time owned and operated the Otranto store.

Evert John Gerber was born January 8, 1922 at Walters, Minnesota, the son of Marvin and Edith Gerber.

On May 10, 1842 he was united in marriage to Beryl Thompson.

Survivors are his wife, Beryl; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marlene) Johnson, Plymouth and Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Schrage of Nora Springs; parents, Mr. and Mrs Marvin Gerber; sister, Mrs. Douglas (Delores) Stanton; seven grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews.
