Theodore O. Grovo was born on the old homestead six miles northwest of St. Ansgar on September 12, 1868 and departed from this life at eleven o'clock on Friday night, August 14, 1925, aged 56 years and 11 months.

In the fall of 1907, on September 18, he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Trasseth of St. Ansgar. To this union were born six children, five boys and one girl, the eldest of whom died in infancy. The children living are: Roger, Henry, Olaf, Caroline and George, all at home and Marvin, who is at present in Canada.

After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Grovo settled on a farm two miles from Toeterville, where they resided until Mr. Grovo's sudden death.

He will be missed among his many friends and especially in his home. He was a kind husband and a loving father, always thoughtful and kind to the children when they were sick.

Mr. Grovo had not been very well for the past five years, being bothered with heart trouble, which caused his death.

Mr. Grovo's brother, Andrew, thru kindness has been helping Theodore with the farm work for the past five years which will be deeply remembered and appreciated by Mrs. Grovo and the children.

The deceased is survived by his widow and five children, three brothers and two sisters. They are Olaus, Andrew and Edward, all of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Caroline Olson of Goodrich, Minn., and Mrs. Marjorie Olson. A sister, Mrs. Julia Peterson, died when a young woman.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar at two o'clock last Wednesday, the Rev. Langehough of Lyle officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery.

For the beautiful floral tributes, the music and the singing which was beautiful, and for the many other remembrances are truly grateful.
