JOHN MULLER, MITCHELL COUNTY RESIDENT ALL OF HIS LIFE SUCCUMBS

Osage: John Muller succumbed early Wednesday. He suffered a stroke Monday from which he failed to recover. Seven years ago he suffered his first stroke and the past two years was practically an invalid.

Born in Mitchell county in July 19, 1877, he was married June 18, 1902 and since lived on a Cedar township farm.

Surviving are his wife and six children, all at home, Leona, Lloyd, Eldred, Maurine, Theodore and Ilene.

FUNERAL AT OSAGE HOME, CHURCH FOR MULLER, 58

Osage: Funeral services were held at his home at 1 o'clock and at St Johns Lutheran church at 2 o'clock Thursday in charge of the Rev. Mr. Brauer for John Muller, 58, who died at his home early Wednesday morning following a stroke of paralysis.

Surviving are his widow and six children, all at home, Leona, Lloyd, Eldred, Maurine, Theodore and Eileen, and three sisters, Verna Muller, Mrs. Herman Ahrens and Mrs. Ed Schuttler, and four brothers, Herbert of Cedar Rapids, George of Lyle, Minn., and Ferdinand and Walter of Osage.

John Muller Died
Wednesday After Lingering Illness

John Muller passed away at his farm home early Wednesday morning after a critical illness of only a day and a half. Mr. Muller suffered a stroke of paralysis seven years ago, and since that time has been in failing health; a second stroke came Monday forenoon, from which he never rallied.

Mr. Muller was born July 19, 1878**, in Mitchell County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Muller. He grew to young manhood in this community; and on June 18, 1902, married Amelia Troge. They established their home on a farm in Cedar Township, where they had resided thrity-four years.

To them were born six children, all of whom are at home; Leona, Lloyd, Eldred, Lorene, Theodore and Illene.

Surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Herman Ahrens, Mrs. Ed Schuttler, and Miss Verna Muller; Herbert Muller, Cedar Rapids, George, Lyle; Ferdinand and Walter, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at his home at 1 o'clock and at St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. in charge of the pastor, the Reverend F. A. Brauer, and burial made in the nearby cemetery.
