St. Ansgar Man's Rites Wednesday
ST. ANSGAR, IOWA—Funeral services for St. Ansgar's oldest resident, Arthur M. Dodge, 95, who died Sunday at his home of a lingering illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist church, Rev. W.F. Belling officiating. Burial will be in East cemetery at St. Ansgar.
Mr. Dodge was born Feb. 4, 1846, at Bricksville, Medina County, Ohio, and had been a resident of Mitchell county for 73 years. He was a farmer and operated a grocery store, and also was an agent for the Equitable Life Insurance Company of Iowa.
Surviving are six children: Mrs. J.E. Holmes, South Shore, S.D.; Mrs. T. E. Wilson, Osage; H. K. Dodge, Camp Hill, Pa.; Mrs. C.C. Dale, Montrose, Minnesota; W.A. Dodge, Fargo, N.D. and Flossie Dodge, at home.
His wife died March 9, 1926, and a son, George, of Northwood, six years ago.
