Osage: Funeral rites are tentatively set for Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran church at Grafton for Leo Frederick Bublitz, 77, who died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Voight, Osage, where he had been cared for the last week following three and one half weeks at Mercy hospital, Mason City; Burial in Grafton cemetery.

He was born May 23, 1872, at Milwaukee, Wis., to August and Wilhelmina Bublitz. At age 5 he accompanied his parents to a farm [near] St. Ansgar; and was married on November 13, 1895, to Lydia Krueger at Grafton. He established home on the farm adjoining the home farm, where they lived their entire married life of 54 years.

He leaves his wife, five daughters; Mrs. Carl Voight and Mrs. Earl Kirchgatter, Osage; Mrs. Rufus Priem and Mrs. Kenneth Zuehl, Toeterville; Mrs. Walter Mitsch, Bakersfield, California; two sons, Walter and Harold, Grafton; one brother Otto, Grafton and one sister; Mrs. Louisa Bortz, Blue Earth, Minn; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were a brother, August, a sister Lena, and an infant brother and sister.
