ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Funeral Rites will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 in Immanuel Lutheran church for Mrs. Henry Schultz, 78, lifelong Mitchell county resident, who died Thursday of a paralytic stroke; in ill health since March; burial in Immanuel Lutheran cemetery south of St. Ansgar.
Nee Emelia Steinberg was born October 1, 1870 in Newburg township, near St. Ansgar. In September 1898, she was married to Henry Schultz, and the couple established their first home in Rock township, moving later to a home directly south of St. Ansgar, where they resided many ears. They lived in St. Ansgar and near Toeterville and for the last 12 years on a farm south of St. Ansgar.
She leaves husband, four children, Mrs. Everett Stewart, Mitchell; Alvin, at home; Mrs. Fred Ehlke an Mrs. John Ehlke, both of St. Ansgar; seven grandchildren and three brothers, William, Emil and Otto, all of St. Ansgar. One son preceded her.
