Funeral services were conducted for Henry Christian Frank at the Frank farm home east of Carpenter at 1:30 Saturday afternoon and at the Deer Creek church at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. Olaf A. Langehough in charge.

Henry Christian Frank died at the home of his son, Donald Frank, on Wednesday, September 8, 1943, where he had been cared for the last seven months of his illness.

He was born at Jefferson, Wisconsin, February 22, 1876, the son of Henry and Henrietta Frank. When he was six weeks old the family moved to Carpenter where he spent the remainder of his life.

On May 31, 1903, he was married to Clara Williams who preceded him in death 13 years ago. To this union was born three children, Rufus of Toeterville; Donald William, who died at the age of eight months, and Donald on the home place near Carpenter. Besides two sons he is survived by four brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.

Interment was in the First Lutheran cemetery in St. Ansgar.
