Blanche E. Lovejoy, 1916-1997

OSAGE, IOWA-- Blanche E. Lovejoy, 81, of Osage, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Unit in Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Blanche was born May 9, 1916, in Bellefield, South Dakota.

Survivors include one daughter, Delores Badker of Osage; two sons, Donald Baker, Plymouth, and Henry Lovejoy, Osage; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Thelma Miller, St. Ansgar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.
