MRS. HACKBART DIES AT OSAGE, RITES PENDING

OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. Edward Hackbart, 86, died Wednesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital here. Funeral services are set tentatively for Saturday afternoon at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Born in Rock Township in December 1875, Minnie Tabbert was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Tabbert. She was married in 1898. The couple farmed in Rock Township until retiring to Osage in 1926.

Surviving are four sons, Oscar, Roy and Melvin, all of Osage; Raymond, Charles City; a daughter, Mrs. George Beyer, Mitchell; a brother, Chris Tabbert, Alexandria, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Ella Laabs, Appleton, Wis.; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.

MRS. MINNIE HACKBART

Mrs. Minnie Hackbart, 86, died Wednesday [January 31, 1962] at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage.

A lifelong resident of Mitchell County, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Beyer, Mitchell; four sons, Roy, Melvin, Oscar of Osage, Raymond of Charles City; a brother, Cris Tabbert, Alexandria, Minnesota; a sister, Mrs. Ella Laabs, Appleton, Wis.; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at Osage.
