FORMER OSAGE WOMAN DIES IN MINNEAPOLIS

OSAGE, IOWA - Committal services will be at 2 p.m Friday at the Rock Creek Lutheran cemetery, Meroa, for a long time former resident, Mrs. E. Z. Larson, who died at a Minneapolis hospital Tuesday morning, following an operation. Funeral rites were to be held at a Minneapolis funeral home Thursday evening.

Lena Goplerud was born August 26, 1867, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Goplerud. Her husband, a tailor, died two years ago. They retired 15 years ago, residing in Minneapolis.

Survivors include two sons, Charles, Des Moines, and Arthur, Minneapolis, 2 sisters, Mrs. Ingeborg Fjelde, Osage, and Mrs. Guri Fjelde, Parkland, Wash.

Olina Christoffersdatter Goplerud was born August 26, 1867 at Dane, Wisconsin to Christoffer Christoffersen Goplerud and Kjersti Haraldsdatter Ormsrud, the fourth of their eight children.

Found in the 1895 census at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa: Olivia Goplerud age 27.

Married Ezekial Larson about 1900 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa; two children.

1920: E Z Larson 57[51], Olina Larson 52, Charles A Larson 18, Arthur G Larson 10.

Found in the 1930 census at St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota: Ezekiel Larson 68, Olena Larson 62, Arthur G Larson 20, Walter T Roe 30, Bernard H Kuehn 18.

Olena died November 19, 1946 at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Burial at Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
