William Markham Dies at Osage,
Rites Pending

OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services are pending for William Markham, 69. He died Wednesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital following a heart attack Monday. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.

A life-time resident of the area, he was born October 26, 1891, to W. A. and Jennie Markham, east of Osage. His first wife, the former Adeline McGrane, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ione Sprung Mayer; three sons, Glenn, Osage; James, George; Larry, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Linton (Jean) Olsen, West Salem, Wis.; Mrs. Lester (Kathryn) Tremble, Oregon, Ill.; two brothers, Ray, Osage; John, Lyle Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. George (Mildred) Bush, Anthony, Kan. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friday November 4, 1960 Funeral announced and burial was to be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Osage.
