OSAGE, IOWA -- Funeral rites will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church here with burial in New Haven Cemetery, for Stephen M. Wagner, 58, who died Monday afternoon at a Faribault, Minnesota hospital. He was at a summer cottage near Faribault, June 21, when his first heart attack occurred. He was hospitalized since, with the exception of a week at the cottage.

Born November 9, 1888, to Stephen and Margaret (Greene) Wagner, at New Haven. He married Annabelle Rothamer and established their first home in Waterloo. He was employed many years by Illinois Central shops and Davidson Furniture in Waterloo.

He leaves a son, Edward, Waterloo; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Stevens, Waterloo; three sisters, Margaret, Mary, and Anna, Osage; two grandchildren; a brother, Matt and a sister, Gertie preceded him.
