In 1895 she with her husband retired from the farm making Nora Springs their home ever since, Mother Lohr was a faithful follower of Jesus from her youth up. It was her delight to study and read God's word, and to make use of all means of grace in working out her soul salvation. But while residing in Nora Springs she worshipped God with the United Evangelical congregation.
