RICEVILLE, IOWA - Rana A. Matzen, 83, of Riceville, died Thursday (Jan. 25, 1996) at the Stacyville Community Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Chris Gugel officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Conway Funeral Home, Riceville, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday.

Rana A. Matzen was born Oct. 19, 1912, in Denmark.

Survivors include two daughters, Eileen Hogman of Garland, Texas, and Carole Rebholz of San Ramon, Calif.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Paulsen of Moline, Illinois; one sister, Ella Shriver of Flagler Beach, Florida; and one half sister, Maria of Denmark.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four sisters.
