Ralph Fox, 84, of Riceville died Thursday, March 12, 1998 at the Riceville Community Rest Home in Riceville.

Mass of Resurrection was held Saturday, March 14, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville with Father John Mosher officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Riceville. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville handled the arrangements.

Ralph was born August 9. 1913 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada, son of Peter and Clara Miller Fox. He graduated from Riceville High school in 1931. Ralph married Geraldine Jahnel December 27, 1943 in New Haven. He lived his entire life in the New Haven and Riceville area. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine, of Riceville, two sons, Mike and his wife, Marjorie, of Riceville and Gary and his wife, Arlene of Rochester, MN; four daughters, Carol Jennison and her husband, Steve, of Denver, CO., Jane Messer and husband, Tracy of Chanhassen, MN, Susan Yavari and her husband, Shawn, of Oak Park, CA., and Sara Byrnes and her husband, Terry, of Riceville; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Leonard Fox of Riceville; and two sisters, Marie McCabe of Torrance, CA and Margaret Brownlee of Oroville, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jack in 1995, brother, Richard both of Riceville, sisters, Helen Palm of Fairborn, Ohio and Virgilia Dunlay of Joplin, Missouri.
