Body of William
Horn Buried in Local
Cemetery Saturday

Older residents in Burr Oak Township will be sorry to learn of the death of William Horn, who lived in that community a number of years ago. He died at Dickens, Iowa at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Flint, last Wednesday, from a complication of diseases, and was brought here Saturday to be buried beside relatives. A short service was conducted at the grave by Reverend J. I Walker, and one at Dickens Thursday afternoon.

William Horn was born in Wisconsin about sixty-nine years ago, and spent about thirty-three years of his life in Iowa. He never married, and when in Osage, made his home with relatives. Until two years ago he lived with a nephew, Elmer Flint, in Montana, just over the line from Belle Fourche, S.D.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Mable** Flint, Osage; two brothers, Otto, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Robert, of Walla Walla, Washington.

[Mitchell County Press, Wednesday, March 5, 1924]

** Apparently the newspaper erroneously called her Mable, when it should have said Mary.
