Oscar Eidahl, Former St. Ansgar Man Died at Marion, North Dakota
The body of Oscar Eidahl, son of Mrs. Ole Eidahl, was brought last Saturday from Marion, N. D., to St. Ansgar, for burial on the family lot. Mr. Eidahl was known to a large circle of people in this vicinity, who will regret his untimely passing. He was married to a former Rock Creek girl, Clara Dynna.
The deceased was born in St. Ansgar April 4, 1880.
His marriage to Miss Dynna was in March, 1905 and a couple of weeks following they moved to Marion, N.D., where they resided on a farm five and a half miles distant, until his death.
Mr. Eidahl suffered from cancer, and had been at Rochester for an operation, or treatment, previous to his death, which occurred on December 19, 1927.
Left to mourn him besides his wife and two daughters, are his mother, three sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the home of Andrew Groth, and in the Norwegian Lutheran church, of St. Ansgar, the Rev. Langehough having charge. Burial was made in the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery.
