Mrs. Ole Davidson who has lived in the northwest part of St. Ansgar for many years, died Sunday morning. She had been sick a bed less than a week. Deceased was 74 years of age and came to St. Ansgar from Norway with her husband and family 27 years ago. Her husband died in 1876. There remains to mourn her departure one son and four daughters. The son, Nels, loves about six miles northeast of Northwood and the daughters all live in San Francisco, California, where they have been several years. The funeral which was very largely attended was held at the Norwegian Lutheran Church Tuesday forenoon, being conducted by Rev. J. Olsen. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery.
