Edward Louis Dreher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rheinold Dreher, was born August 27, 1883, in Mitchell county. He died at Mercy Hospital on April 6 at 5:45 p.m., following an accident at his home. He was taken to the hospital where he spent 15 days. Everything of medical aid was done for him, but to no avail.

Edward was baptized in the Lutheran faith by Rev. Zellinger and confirmed by Rev. Westenberger on April 11, 1897. He was married to Anna Marie Gilbertson on March 4, 1908. They made their home in Dike, Faulkner, Eldora, Carpenter, and the past four years in St. Ansgar. Mr. Dreher has been in the grain business all through the years in these places. He was known for his kind and honest dealings with his many friends in business and will be sadly missed by all of them. He was a kind and loving husband and a friend to all. His loss will be felt by all who knew him, espiecially by his wife.

Mr. Dreher is survived by his wife, and five brothers, Charles of Nora Springs, Rheinold of Mitchell, Otto of Lake Bronson, Minnesota, Fred of Bertha, Minnesota, Will of Carpenter, and two sisters, Margaret Feldt Harcourt of Mitchell and Minnie Connors of Minneapolis, his parents and two sisters preceded him in death.

Feldt, Carpenter; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Feldt and Shirley, Carpenter; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Heard and Will Dreher of Carpenter; Mrs. Margaret Harcourt, Mitchell; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Feldt, Mitchell; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilmont, Osage; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ellingson, Northwood; R.W.
