Osage Child Dies of Skull Fracture

OSAGE, IOWA - Donna Stroberg, eight year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Strobert, farmers west of Osage, died Friday night in St. Mary's Hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, of a skull fracture she suffered in a fall from an upstairs window at the family home Thursday.

The child was playing with three other children in an upstairs room when she fell and landed on a cement platform. She was treated first at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital here, then taken Friday morning by ambulance to Rochester.

Donna was born June 6, 1946, to Louis and Winona (Adams) Stroberg. She was a second grade pupil in the Osage school.

Surviving besides her parents are three brothers, Arnold, David and Louis Jr.; five sisters, Evelyn, Carol, Sandra, Darlene and Ida; also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Adams and Mrs. Ida Stroberg, all of Osage.

The body was brought to the Champion funeral home here pending arrangements.
