St. Ansgar — Funeral services were here Monday for William Mueller.

He was born Sept. 16, 1861, in Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Mueller celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 14, 1947. Mr. Mueller was a member of the first confirmation class to be held in Immanuel Lutheran Church here. He was engaged in business in St. Ansgar 25 years and farmed in Worth county 19 years; retired several years ago on account of ill health.

He leaves a widow, Clara; five sons and two daughters: Richard, Oscar, Adolph, Wilmer and Claire, all of St. Ansgar; Mrs. Bernice Tait, Mason City, and Mrs. George [Esther] Ehlers, Montevideo, Minn.

NOTES:
1. Esther Mueller married George Ehlers.
2. William's wife was Clara A. (nee) Falk; she was born about 1869.
3. Claire was born on Nov. 4, 1904, and died on March 3, 1953.
4. Wilmer was born on Jan. 18, 1897, and died in May 1985.
5. Adolph was born 1 AUG 1892, and died 23 NOV 1974.
