MITCHELL, IOWA -- Services for George E. Beyer, 73, who died Saturday at the University Hospital in Iowa City, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage Cemetery; burial in the Osage Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Elfrieda; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Clayton Sr., and Mrs. Dallas Anderson, both of Mitchell, and Mrs. Verne Hucke of Westgate; seven sons, Dean, George, and Donald, all of Mitchell; Dale and Darrell, both of Osage, Dennis of Fredericksburg, and Delbert of New Hampton; 26 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph of Mitchell and Albert and Julius, both of St. Ansgar, and five sisters, Mrs. Ida Teall of Osage, Mrs. Selma Kittleson and Mrs. Herbert Hannam, both of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Hedwig Bork of Grafton, and Mrs. Hilda Stonehocker of St. Petersburg, Fla.
