Olga Louise Berg was born July 9, 1880 in St. Ansgar, Iowa, and died August 12, 1906, at the home of her parents in the same place.
She was baptized in August of the year of her birth by Rev. J. Olson and also confirmed by him on May 27, 1897. Olga had always been frail and her health had been especially poor since she was vaccinated some years ago but she has born all these afflictions with a great deal of patience and uncomplainingly.
On August 2nd she was compelled to take her bed being afflicted with a complication of diseases but appoplexy was the immediate cause of her death.
As she nearly always remained at home she has been a constant companion to her mother to whom she was a great comfort, consequently, her departure in the very bloom of young womanhood comes as a severe blow to her parents.
Those who are left to morn her loss are her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. O.K. Berg, two sisters and two brothers viz: Mrs. T.J. Veblen of Blooming Prairie, A.C. Berg of Minneapolis, C.O. Berg and Mary Berg.
The funeral services were held at the N.L. Church Tuesday, August 14 at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev. Urnes of Osage in both languages.
Those who attended the funeral from a distant were Mrs. C.A. Veblen, Mrs. T.J. Cashman and Mrs. V. Schisler of Blooming Prairie, Minn.
(Words of hymn, "Just As I Am")
