RITES ARE HELD

Ex-Wife, Who Was Stabbed, Reported Recovering at Mitchell.

MITCHELL, IOWA May 12 — The funeral services of Vincent Cullen, who slashed himself after stabbing his former wife, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Bohemian hall, under the direction of the Bohemian lodge of which he was a member.

The Rev. E. E. Anderson, pastor of the Community church, gave the sermon and burial was made in Oak Grove cemetery [Mitchell].

Mrs. Cullen who is still confined to her bed, is improving.
