ST. ANSGAR, IOWA -- Services for Victor E. Anderson, 54, who died Friday at a hospital in Mason City of cancer, will be at 2 p.m., Monday at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church in Carpenter. Burial will be in the Deer Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Alma Anderson of St. Ansgar; three brothers: Russell of Manly, Neil of Plymouth, and Dean of St. Ansgar; three sisters: Mrs. Clarence Eckart of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Vern VanHosier of Manly, and Mrs. Robert Pflieger of Plymouth.

Schroder and Dunn Funeral Home in St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for E. Victor Anderson, 54, who died at St. Joseph Mercy hospital in Mason City June 27, 1975, were held at Deer Creek Lutheran church, Carpenter, with the Rev. S. Engelstad of St. Ansgar officiating.

Earl Victor Anderson was born in Meltonville December 6, 1920, the son of Nels and Alma Anderson. He attended school and spent his entire life in the Meltonville community. After the death of his father, he dedicated his life to raising two small brothers and one young sister and caring for his mother with whom he made his home.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his mother, Alma; three brothers, Russell of Manly, Neil of Plymouth and Dean of St. Ansgar; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Fae) Eckert, Meltonville; Mrs. Vern (Alta) Van Hooser of Manly and Mrs. Robert (Doris) Pflieger of Plymouth; also several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Howard.

Burial was in the Deer Creek cemetery with Rev. Engelstad in charge of committal services.
